Position Summary
Supervises the Pouch production.
General Purpose
To oversee and ensure coordination between all sectors of Pouch operations, and to promote communication with other affected departments of the complex.

Ensure the department is sufficiently staffed, communicating with Human Resources all needs.
Oversees that paperwork and documentation are completed, and production information is submitted in a timely manner
Look ahead to future production to stay ahead of production issues.
Supervisors shall always monitor and pay close attention to their lines during production.
Any accident (or near miss) in or around your area in Pouch that involves your subordinates being injured etc. should be documented and turned into the nurse and your direct manager should be notified immediately.
Supervisors shall always be cognitive of labor cost daily and weekly to minimize labor expenses in your department.
Supervisor shall meet with their employees at least twice a month to reiterate food and safety training, food and safety training, and educate them on new and more effective routes in the process.
Good housekeeping should always be maintained daily throughout your shift.
Any downtime over 10 minutes or that is reoccurring should be reported immediately to the maintenance supervisor or lead person on duty and the production manager on duty.
Supervisors should always think safety and quality first.
Supervisors should always be mindful of their product yields, downtime, efficiency and other KPI’s daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure that you, as a supervisor, are being effective in all areas of your department.
Supervisors should submit an end of shift report which includes a summary of issues not captured in reported downtime, attendance, disciplinary actions and other KPI’s requested by the Pouch Manager
Supervisors must ensure that all their line paperwork is being filled out correctly before it’s turned into the proper personnel.
Supervisors are responsible for completing employees’ time in the System.
There are several steps required to be before a production supervisor can start a shift, the following are the correct steps for a successful workday.
Production supervisors are required to print off a fresh spec sheet prior to starting your shift
Ensure all other production paperwork needed is printed out.
Ensure that the product you’re running is being run by the spec that was designed for that product.
Startup/Setup/Shutdown checklist related to the shift being supervised is completed
Production supervisors are allowed two 30-minute breaks per shift.
Perform any other duties as requested by the Pouch Manager
In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained employee
