Qualified applicants will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of our goals and objectives.
Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs maintenance repairs of production equipment.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Adhere to plant safety rules at all times
Read blueprints and apply layout and precision measurement skills to prepare work
Machine parts to rebuild/ replace mechanical components and to construct new components
Repair/ replace belts, pulleys, bearings, gears, couplings, and shafts
Lubricate bearings, gears, couplings and rotating parts, align couplings and shafts
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components
Troubleshoot AC/DC circuits
Connect motors, starters, push buttons, relays and timers in motor control circuits and troubleshoot the control circuits
Run conduit and electric wire to distribute power to point of use
Troubleshoot electric power distribution (low voltage) systems
Program and troubleshoot PLC controls, program and troubleshoot NC/CNC controls
Work in teams to solve problems and make improvements to machine and production processes
Perform preventative maintenance

Experience in an INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT required. Must be able to work on variable speed drives, photo sensors, servos and other instrumentation such as: burner and flow controls, analog sensors and analog DC drives. PLC experience preferred. Must have a firm knowledge of relay logics, Ability to run conduit, size wire and meet code requirements is expected.
Required education:
High school or equivalent
Technical School or Apprenticeship
Industrial Electrician: 2 years+
